Welcome!

Nathanial Cooper (2018)     Copyright Caroline Evans Abbott

I am the Marie Curie ITN Experienced Researcher in the Chemical Engineering department at Imperial College London, in the Centre for Process Systems Engineering. I hold a PhD from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California at Davis, where I have worked as a Teaching Assistant (TA), and as a Graduate Student Researcher (GSR) in the Green Transportation Laboratory for four years, from 2012 to 2016. I hold a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Brown University in Mechanical Engineering (2012). During my time at Brown, I performed undergraduate research under the direction of a senior researcher, interned for Stanley Black and Decker, and worked for the University of Connecticut’s Department of Mechanical Engineering as part of the National Science Foundation’s ‘Research Experience for Undergraduates’ (NSF-REU) program.

The breadth of research I have undertaken combines my interests in renewable energy and environmental technologies with current specialty in experimental characterization and testing. I look forward to applying the totality of my experience and abilities to the further pursuit of fundamental research opportunity in the coming year.

Please feel free to contact me with information, ideas, or opportunity. I look forward to hearing from you.
